Industrial Land

Kemerton Industrial Park contains vacant land zoned for heavy industry available for sale from the Government of Western Australia through LandCorp.

The land has not been subdivided which allows for lots to be tailor made to suit industry specifications.

A range of lot sizes is possible for prospective industries at a significant discount in comparison to the Perth metropolitan area, where land at Kwinana Industrial Park is approximately $50 per square metre.

This compares very favourably with Eastern States pricing where industrial land in Sydney starts at around $200 per square metre.

The total area of the KIP is 7,543 hectares (ha) comprising:

• 2,110ha of Industrial Core
• 293ha Support Industry Area
• 5140ha of Buffer Areas - made up of Inter Industry Buffer (212ha) and Buffer Area (4,928ha)

Over 95 per cent of the land is still available for use.

The buffer includes bushland, wetland, protection zones, recreational areas and support industries and inter-industry buffer areas.

The park is relatively flat and features sandy, well-drained soils. The eastern portions of Kemerton have been extensively cleared although some tracts of natural woodland remain.

Kemerton Industrial Park is a planned industrial estate that can accommodate the largest of heavy industries as well as smaller support industries.
